Q: How does the free sizing kit work when ordering a custom set?
A: When you order a custom nail set, select your desired shape and request a free sizing kit at checkout. We ship your sizing kit right away (1–2 business days). Once it arrives, test the blank sample tips against your natural nails, scan the included QR code to save your sizing profile, and start hand-painting your set right away!
Q: Do I need a new sizing kit if I want a different nail shape?
A: Yes, we strongly recommend it! Every shape and length (e.g., Short Square vs. Long Coffin) has a unique apex curve and sidewall taper mold. A size 1 in Coffin sits differently than a size 1 in Square, so testing a kit for each shape guarantees a flush, zero-lifting fit.
Q: What if my left and right hands have different sizes?
A: That is completely normal! Most people have slight variations between hands. Your customer account sizing profile lets you save separate, finger-by-finger sizes for both hands.
Q: What should I do if I feel like I’m between two tip sizes?
A: Always size up! If a tip is slightly too large, you can easily file the side edges for a seamless contour. A tip that is too small will pinch your natural nail bed, cause discomfort, and pop off prematurely.
Q: How long do I have to submit my sizes after my kit arrives?
A: Please try on your kit and save your measurements via the QR code within 3 days of delivery. Because custom production slots are limited each week, we automatically cancel un-sized orders after this window to avoid delaying other orders.
Q: What happens if I mismeasure my nails?
A: Because all sets are custom-crafted strictly to your submitted measurements, full sets with incorrect customer sizing are non-refundable. However, you don’t need to reorder an entire set! You can easily order single replacement nails in your account portal to replace any individual fingers that don’t fit.
